Your Physician
Dr. William Melvin Brown III is a Charleston native with more than 22 years in medicine. He trained at the United States Naval Academy, earned his MD at the Medical University of South Carolina, and completed his residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and holds affiliations with MUSC, Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, Roper St. Francis, and Trident Medical Center.
After years in hospital medicine, he opened CharlestonMD through MDVIP to practice the way he wanted to: with enough time to actually know his patients.
