Originally from Lido Beach, NY, Joseph Dondero brings a diverse background and wealth of experience to CharlestonMD. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS in Political Science, Joe served for six years as a Surface Warfare Officer before embarking on a successful entrepreneurial journey. He launched and managed several small businesses, ranging from landscaping to children’s fitness franchises, before transitioning into corporate sales roles within the medical device and tech industries.

Over a year ago, drawn to Charleston by his close friendship with Dr. Brown, Joe played a key role in the startup of CharlestonMD and continues to serve as its dedicated Business Manager. In addition to his work with CharlestonMD, Joe leverages his business acumen as a Practice Transition Specialist for the MDVIP network of primary care physicians. Outside of work, you’ll likely find Joe tackling ambitious home improvement projects!
